Stripping is an electrolytic process with which is removed the oxidation of gold and silver objects where the buffing and polishing cannot be reached. Stripping solution allows a system of electrolytic polishing without toxic agents, to strip the metal and other elements. Solution weakly acid, free from cyanide, for the electrolytic brightening of gold alloys used in the goldsmith. Its use permits it to render brighter the surface of the treated objects and at the same time to brighten the alloy’s colour, dissolving the superficial layer oxidated by the different treatment steps. This process eliminates the dhaga polish process from behind the stone.
